Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Andrea Et Grisette by Marc-Antoine Fehr was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2014. The price achieved of GBP 6,750.00 (€ 8,513.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marc-Antoine Fehr - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ruth à sa table, 1999, which sold at auction in May 2013 for CHF 27,600.00 (€ 22,174.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Andrea Et Grisette von Marc-Antoine Fehr kam im Juli 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.750,00 (€ 8.513,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marc-Antoine Fehr mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ruth à sa table, 1999 beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für CHF 27.600,00 (€ 22.174,78) versteigert wurde.
