Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Manuel Robbe could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Avant la pose (Merrill Chase 8) changed hands for USD 597.50 (€ 554.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Robbe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Critics in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,783.30).
