Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Manuel Rendón could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Sale auction, the work Sin título changed hands for USD 21,510.00 (€ 21,657.27) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Manuel Rendón have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2004 by the work L'exploration at EUR 38,240.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Manuel Rendón konnte im November 2002 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Sale wechselte die Arbeit Sin título für USD 21.510,00 (€ 21.657,27) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Manuel Rendón wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2004 die Arbeit L'exploration mit EUR 38.240,00.
