Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Indian Sale, which included the work Portrait Of Landscape One by Manu Parekh. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,478.23). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manu Parekh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work He And She, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,002.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Indian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Landscape One von Manu Parekh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.478,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Manu Parekh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit He And She beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 49.000,00 (€ 31.002,85) versteigert wurde.
