Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a Landscape II by Manu Parekh was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2001. The price achieved of GBP 235.00 (€ 379.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manu Parekh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work He And She in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,002.85).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 235,00 (€ 379,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manu Parekh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit He And She im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 49.000,00 (€ 31.002,85).
