Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,089.06). Admittedly, works by Manu Parekh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work He And She in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,002.85).

Die Arbeit Celebration At Temple von Manu Parekh kam im März 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.089,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manu Parekh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit He And She im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 49.000,00 (€ 31.002,85).
