Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Manoucher Yektai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March last year. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work without title sold for USD 201,600.00 (€ 181,736.23) - well above the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Manoucher Yektai; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still Life sold at auction in May this year with the realized price of GBP 165,500.00 (€ 192,560.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Manoucher Yektai erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 201.600,00 (€ 181.736,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Manoucher Yektai; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Still Life im Mai diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 165.500,00 (€ 192.560,35).
