In June 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Composition Noir Et Gris Foncé by Manolo Millares. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,952.56) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manolo Millares achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Composition) Painting no. 4 in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 842,500.00 (€ 1,011,274.93).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition Noir Et Gris Foncé von Manolo Millares zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.952,56) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manolo Millares erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Composition) Painting no. 4 im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 842.500,00 (€ 1.011.274,93).
