Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Les Cypres, Les Collines Et La Mer by Manolis Calliyannis for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,011.48). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manolis Calliyannis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek La Lumiere De La Mer (The Light Of The Sea) in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,748.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Les Cypres, Les Collines Et La Mer von Manolis Calliyannis für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.011,48) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manolis Calliyannis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek La Lumiere De La Mer (The Light Of The Sea) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.748,59).
