Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape of the Mind, I, II, III, IV by Manal Al-Dowayan was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,250.00 (€ 28,507.57). Admittedly, works by Manal Al-Dowayan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suspended Together in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 329,000.00 (€ 249,848.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape of the Mind, I, II, III, IV von Manal Al-Dowayan kam im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.250,00 (€ 28.507,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manal Al-Dowayan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suspended Together im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 329.000,00 (€ 249.848,12).
