Sold at the upper estimate price
In October 2018 Christies in London held the auction Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work I Live And Die For The Moment (from the series And We Had No Shared Dreams) by Manal Al-Dowayan. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,553.83), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manal Al-Dowayan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suspended Together in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 329,000.00 (€ 249,848.12).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Live And Die For The Moment (from the series And We Had No Shared Dreams) von Manal Al-Dowayan zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.553,83) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manal Al-Dowayan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suspended Together im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 329.000,00 (€ 249.848,12).
