Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Manabu Mabe. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,490.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manabu Mabe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 75,373.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manabu Mabe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.490,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manabu Mabe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 75.373,85).
