Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Manabu Mabe could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,727.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manabu Mabe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 75,373.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Manabu Mabe konnte im November 2013 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 11.875,00 (€ 8.727,77) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manabu Mabe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 75.373,85).
