Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Manabu Mabe for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,968.71). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manabu Mabe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 75,373.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manabu Mabe für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.968,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manabu Mabe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 75.373,85).
