It achieved a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,880.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maggi Hambling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cascading Wave, which sold at auction in March 2019 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,721.77).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.880,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Maggi Hambling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cascading Wave beobachtet, die im März 2019 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.721,77) versteigert wurde.
