Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Machiko Edmondson was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2011. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,360.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Machiko Edmondson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Semantic Space in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 85,211.46).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Machiko Edmondson kam im Juni 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.360,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Machiko Edmondson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Semantic Space im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 85.211,46).
