Auction result fails to reach estimate
In September 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Ohne Titel by Machiko Edmondson for EUR 4,902.00. This price was achieved in the auction From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection at VAN HAM and was even lower than the EUR 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Machiko Edmondson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Semantic Space in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 85,211.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im September 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ohne Titel von Machiko Edmondson für EUR 4.902,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection bei VAN HAM erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Machiko Edmondson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Semantic Space im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 85.211,46).
