Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Trekking In The Mountains by Ma Tai was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,148.87), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ma Tai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Deer in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 72,103.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Trekking In The Mountains von Ma Tai wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.148,87) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ma Tai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Deer im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 72.103,71).
