Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Baby No. 1 by Ma Liuming was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,759.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Liuming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baby No. 7 in May 2006 with an auction result of HKD 900,000.00 (€ 90,399.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Baby No. 1 von Ma Liuming kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.759,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Liuming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baby No. 7 im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 900.000,00 (€ 90.399,75).
