Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven - Character Couplet In Running Script by Ma Gongyu was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 41,300.00 (€ 4,357.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ma Gongyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,267.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven - Character Couplet In Running Script von Ma Gongyu kam im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 41.300,00 (€ 4.357,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ma Gongyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 30.267,00).
