Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hello Hunne Bunne! by Lynyrd Paras was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,345.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lynyrd Paras have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chaos In The Moment Of Silence in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 30,885.87).

Die Arbeit Hello Hunne Bunne! von Lynyrd Paras wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.345,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lynyrd Paras auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chaos In The Moment Of Silence im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 30.885,87).
