Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Tigas Ng Ulo Mo (You Are Hard-Headed) by Lynyrd Paras. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,975.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lynyrd Paras have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chaos In The Moment Of Silence in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 30,885.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tigas Ng Ulo Mo (You Are Hard-Headed) von Lynyrd Paras zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.975,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lynyrd Paras auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chaos In The Moment Of Silence im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 30.885,87).
