Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Lynyrd Paras was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,599.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lynyrd Paras have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chaos In The Moment Of Silence in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 30,885.87).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lynyrd Paras wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 5.599,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lynyrd Paras auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chaos In The Moment Of Silence im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 30.885,87).
