Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Ay! Ha Ha! Ako Ayoko! (Ay! Ha Ha! That'S Enough!) by Lynyrd Paras. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,377.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 55,000.00 – 75,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lynyrd Paras have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chaos In The Moment Of Silence in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 30,885.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ay! Ha Ha! Ako Ayoko! (Ay! Ha Ha! That'S Enough!) von Lynyrd Paras zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.377,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 55.000,00 – 75.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lynyrd Paras auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chaos In The Moment Of Silence im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 30.885,87).
