In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian, which included the work The Friend by Lynyrd Paras. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 112,500.00 (€ 10,675.67), 41% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lynyrd Paras - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chaos In The Moment Of Silence, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 30,885.87).

Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Friend von Lynyrd Paras zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 10.675,67) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lynyrd Paras mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chaos In The Moment Of Silence beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 30.885,87) versteigert wurde.
