Sold at the lower estimate price
In May 2021 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Marion Lambert, which included the work Columns With Mountain, Palmyra, Syrie, 1995 by Lynn Davis. The result of EUR 2,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lynn Davis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Iceberg #30, Disko Bay, Greenland, 2000 in October 2019 with an auction result of USD 36,250.00 (€ 32,496.64).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection Marion Lambert durch, in der auch die Arbeit Columns With Mountain, Palmyra, Syrie, 1995 von Lynn Davis zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lynn Davis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Iceberg #30, Disko Bay, Greenland, 2000 im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.250,00 (€ 32.496,64).
