A top price for Lynn Davis
When the work Iceberg #30, Disko Bay, Greenland, 2000 by Lynn Davis was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2019, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 9,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at USD 36,250.00 (€ 32,496.64). This high result makes Iceberg #30, Disko Bay, Greenland, 2000 the most expensive artwork by Lynn Davis that we have observed at auctions so far.
