The work Sans titre by Lygia Pape was sold in the Art Contemporain auction at Christies in Paris in December 2010. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 23,750.00 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lygia Pape achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Livro noite e dia (Book of Night and Day) in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 430,000.00 (€ 382,698.47).

Die Arbeit Sans titre von Lygia Pape wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Art Contemporain bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 23.750,00 und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lygia Pape erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Livro noite e dia (Book of Night and Day) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 430.000,00 (€ 382.698,47).
