Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Luis Graner could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Tuxedo Park changed hands for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,056.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luis Graner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish maria in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 70,957.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luis Graner konnte im Juni 2013 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Tuxedo Park für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.056,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luis Graner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spanish maria im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 70.957,35).
