Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Capitalistas (The Capitalists) by Luis Graner was sold in the European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,090.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luis Graner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish maria in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 70,957.35).

Die Arbeit Capitalistas (The Capitalists) von Luis Graner wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.090,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luis Graner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spanish maria im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 70.957,35).
