Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Distressing News by Luis Graner was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2008. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,496.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luis Graner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish maria in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 70,957.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Distressing News von Luis Graner kam im März 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.496,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luis Graner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spanish maria im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 70.957,35).
