Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Times Square By Night by Luigi Rocca was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2010. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,544.88). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Rocca - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "What's for lunch?"., which sold at auction in June this year for EUR 14,520.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Times Square By Night von Luigi Rocca kam im März 2010 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.544,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Rocca mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "What's for lunch?". beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für EUR 14.520,00 versteigert wurde.
