Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Muto Come Pesce by Luigi Ontani for EUR 6,250.00. This price was achieved in the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea at Sothebys in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Ontani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ibridoli in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,000.00 (€ 120,629.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Muto Come Pesce von Luigi Ontani für EUR 6.250,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Sothebys in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Ontani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ibridoli im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.000,00 (€ 120.629,53).
