In May 2021 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Vediove con Uva e Uova by Luigi Ontani. The result of EUR 30,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luigi Ontani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ibridoli in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,000.00 (€ 120,629.53).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vediove con Uva e Uova von Luigi Ontani zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 30.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Ontani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ibridoli im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.000,00 (€ 120.629,53).
