In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale, which included the work Totò da Cobra baciato by Luigi Ontani. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,930.00 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Ontani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ibridoli in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,000.00 (€ 120,629.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Totò da Cobra baciato von Luigi Ontani zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.930,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Ontani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ibridoli im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.000,00 (€ 120.629,53).
