Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Luigi Ontani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work ScArpaGhettAbbottorinata sold for EUR 20,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luigi Ontani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ibridoli in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,000.00 (€ 120,629.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luigi Ontani erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit ScArpaGhettAbbottorinata für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Ontani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ibridoli im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.000,00 (€ 120.629,53).
