Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chinese Leaves by Luigi Lucioni was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2017. The price achieved of USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,243.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 24,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luigi Lucioni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Checkered Tablecloth in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 132,473.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chinese Leaves von Luigi Lucioni kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.243,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 24.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Lucioni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Checkered Tablecloth im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 132.473,73).
