Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Au Moulin Rouge by Ludovic-Rodo Pissarro. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,001.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ludovic-Rodo Pissarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Café Parisien (Bal Tabarin) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,892.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Au Moulin Rouge von Ludovic-Rodo Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.001,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ludovic-Rodo Pissarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Café Parisien (Bal Tabarin) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.892,07).
