Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Piede by Luciano Fabro for GBP 277,250.00 (€ 320,864.15). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Italian Art Including Italian Identity - an Important Private Collection at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 280,000.00 – 350,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luciano Fabro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,714,500.00 (€ 3,796,907.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Piede von Luciano Fabro für GBP 277.250,00 (€ 320.864,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Italian Art Including Italian Identity - an Important Private Collection bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 280.000,00 – 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luciano Fabro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.714.500,00 (€ 3.796.907,49).
