Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Frau Binder, Berlin by Lucia Moholy was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October 2020. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,219.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucia Moholy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bella, C. 1930, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,122.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Frau Binder, Berlin von Lucia Moholy wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.219,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucia Moholy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bella, C. 1930 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.122,52) versteigert wurde.
