Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bauhaus Dessau von Südosten. Architekt: Walter Gropius. by Lucia Moholy was sold in the Frühjahr 2019 - ORANGERIE bauhaus forever! auction at Grisebach in May 2019. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucia Moholy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bella, C. 1930, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,122.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bauhaus Dessau von Südosten. Architekt: Walter Gropius. von Lucia Moholy wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Frühjahr 2019 - ORANGERIE bauhaus forever! bei Grisebach versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucia Moholy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bella, C. 1930 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.122,52) versteigert wurde.
