Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bauhaus Masters' Housing, Dessau, Dining Room in Lucia Moholy and Laszlo Moholy-Nagy's House by Lucia Moholy was sold in the Prints & Photographs auction at Bonhams in Skinner Boston in January 2024. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,664.00 (€ 1,454.29). Admittedly, works by Lucia Moholy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bella, C. 1930 in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,122.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bauhaus Masters' Housing, Dessau, Dining Room in Lucia Moholy and Laszlo Moholy-Nagy's House von Lucia Moholy wurde im Januar 2024 in der Auktion Prints & Photographs bei Bonhams in Skinner Boston versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.664,00 (€ 1.454,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lucia Moholy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bella, C. 1930 im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.122,52).
