Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Left And Right Internal Wings Of The Feilitzsch Altarpiece: Saint Peter With A Donor, Probably Jobst Von Feilitzsch; Saint Paul by Lucas Cranach I was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2020. The price achieved of USD 1,220,000.00 (€ 1,099,792.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucas Cranach I achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bocca Della Verità (The Mouth Of Truth) in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 9,333,000.00 (€ 13,231,059.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Left And Right Internal Wings Of The Feilitzsch Altarpiece: Saint Peter With A Donor, Probably Jobst Von Feilitzsch; Saint Paul von Lucas Cranach I kam im Januar 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion.
