This artwork by Lucas Arruda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. In the 20th and 21st Century Art Afternoon Session auction, the work Untitled (From The Deserto-Modelo Series) sold for HKD 3,000,000.00 (€ 317,123.18) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,500,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lucas Arruda; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 420,297.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucas Arruda erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th and 21st Century Art Afternoon Session wurde die Arbeit Untitled (From The Deserto-Modelo Series) für HKD 3.000.000,00 (€ 317.123,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 1.500.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lucas Arruda; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 420.297,69).
