Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deep Snow 21-5 by Lu Hui was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,267.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Hui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure Paintings After Old Masters in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 166,844.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Deep Snow 21-5 von Lu Hui wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.267,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Hui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure Paintings After Old Masters im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 166.844,63).
