Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Émile Verhaeren by Louis Hayet was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,952.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Louis Hayet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bord De L'Oise À L'Aube, Pontoise in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 128,194.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Émile Verhaeren von Louis Hayet kam im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.952,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Hayet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bord De L'Oise À L'Aube, Pontoise im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 128.194,76).
