Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les Toits by Louis Hayet was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2016. It achieved a price of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,686.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Hayet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bord De L'Oise À L'Aube, Pontoise in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 128,194.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les Toits von Louis Hayet kam im Dezember 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.686,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Hayet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bord De L'Oise À L'Aube, Pontoise im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 128.194,76).
