Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A military practise at Waalsdorp, The Hague by Louis Apol was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. The price achieved of EUR 3,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Apol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A horse-drawn cart on a snowy path in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 79,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A military practise at Waalsdorp, The Hague von Louis Apol kam im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Apol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A horse-drawn cart on a snowy path im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 79.500,00.
