The result of EUR 5,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Apol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A horse-drawn cart on a snowy path in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 79,500.00.

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Apol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A horse-drawn cart on a snowy path im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 79.500,00.
