Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lou Bo'An achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Nature's Beauty sold for HKD 1,220,000.00 (€ 120,540.04) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lou Bo'An; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape sold at auction in November 2011 with the realized price of HKD 1,736,000.00 (€ 166,076.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lou Bo'An erzielte im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Nature's Beauty für HKD 1.220.000,00 (€ 120.540,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lou Bo'An; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape im November 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.736.000,00 (€ 166.076,86).
